Hydrophilic PTFE 0.22/0.45 um IC Syringe Filters

Descripton of PTFE Syringe Filters

If the sample contains a lot of particles or viscous impurities, 0.45um syringe filter with a pre-filter membrane is your ideal choice. The pre-filtration membrane filter adds a layer of pre-filtration membrane before the membrane of the ordinary syringe filter to protect the microporous membrane. The material is 1um Glass Fiber or PP. Hawach also provides no pre-filter for your need.

The pre-filtration membrane can remove particulate impurities while preventing sticky impurities from clogging the filter. The pre-filter membrane is made of chemically inert materials and is resistant to most solvents. The rigidity of the membrane and the structure of large specific surface area have the characteristics of small retention capacity and low resistance, so the pre-filtration membrane filter can maintain high flux even when processing difficult-to-filter samples.

IC syringe filters are common to both aqueous and organic solvents. Ion chromatography, which is commonly used in environmental analysis, also requires that no inorganic contaminants be introduced in sample pretreatment. Like sterile CA syringe filters, hydrophilic PTFE syringe filter can be used in HPLC analysis and IC analysis to filter sample solutions, which is a sample pretreatment process important step in the process.

Note: Φ25mm syringe filter because the filter area is larger than Φ13mm, the ion dissolution is also higher, so as the highest ion dissolution of the sample for testing.
2. Experimental Method
Syringe filter is filtered 3ml ultra-pure water, the first 1ml discard, collect the first 2ml filter water and go on tested by IC Cl-, NO3-, SO42-. Each sample was repeated three times. Ultra-pure water directly tested by IC act as blank sample for comparison.
